The waste ink tank is full already, hasn't even had a full set of 4 cartridges through it...
What do I need to do?
Is there a way of emptying it and resetting or is a replacement required? If so where's the best place to get one?
Thank you in advance!
Rob.

It does seem like there is something wrong and AdrianH's post should sort you out.
If not there is a work around for Ricoh waste tanks where you can take them apart, clean them out and insert some paper under the sensor. Look on you tube Conde channel and I am pretty sure they have a video. You will need to check that you can do it for your model though.
Good luck

You should update your firmware as well.

You can do a reset although i would not recommend it. We would only ever say use this method if its urgently needed.
Hold Up & Down arrow for 5 seconds then press enter
Engine Maintinance "enter"
3008003 - Enter / Enter again
RST : Waste : RC : EXEC
Enter / OK Enter
RST : Waste : RC : EXEC
Left Arrow
RST : Waste : R
3008004 / Enter / Enter / Enter
Then Exit
In all honesty we don't find the 3110 printers that reliable, we have been through 4 in under 1 year - we too had the maintenance tank problem, streaking and banding issues. We first thought it was a paper missfeed in relation to the banding and streaking, but most of our problems was related to air in the tubes. We believe when the inks was running low it was pulling air through causing it to run maintenance and forcing the air into the maintenance tank. I recommend the Epson 4015 printer any day.
