Hi everyone, I am new to this, but now have a dozen or so successes under my belt. I think I need a failure to make sure I don't get too confident. On a more serious point can anyone tell me if the Sublimation ink has a shelf life once it has been opened?? I have been offered some bottles, but turned them down as I still have over half bottle of each colour left, I assume that these should last me a couple of months or so, depending on the mug production.

Ink we use has a best before/use by (can't remember which) of around 12-18 months. A while back, I did buy some stock in at a discounted rate which was past this date and didn't notice any deterioration of colours or any ill effects on the printer. YMMV depending on the quality of the ink you are using, how it has been stored, and how well your printer copes with sublimation inks in general.

All Sawgrass inks have the use by dates on the bottles/ boxes so you will know if they are okay or not.
