Black Banding problems

Can anyone please help i'm having problems with the blacks leaving banding type marks. I've tried various temp settings but have been unable to cure the problem.[ATTACH=CONFIG]1811[/ATTACH]

We've seen this before on the forum. Looks like the element of the mug blanket. Please detail your settings, paper etc.

Ricoh 3110dn printer love cut press, love cut 5760dpi ultra sharp instant dry paper temp 170 for 180sec

Print a small black square, cut it in half, rotate one bit 90 degrees, tape both bits to mug, press.
If the lines still run in the same direction on both prints, the problem is the press blanket, if the lines run at 90 degreesto each other then the problem is the printing end of things.

just been having a play with the press I don't think I've been pressing hard enough so i'll try again tomorrow and report

I have had this problem a few times when I need to print a solid colour on the bottom of the mug. I have found pre warming the mugs cures the problem immediately. If you do a lot of them I can recommend the following link works well for me.

The griddle holds ten mugs and I can press five at a time. The mugs go on the gridle which is set to a low heat (1) which warms the mug at the bottom just enough to print perfectly. I print for 240 seconds and the mugs get loaded on the griddle as I take five off and put in the blankets.
