Hey everyone

Ebay has announced the monthly cost of an Ebay shop will rise by 25% from £14.99 to £19.99.

What! You were honestly expecting GOOD news from Ebay! I thought I was self employed but now after paying all their fees I realise I work for them!

Time to start expanding and promoting my own website.

Its going up to £19.99 with 20 free listings, so in reality going up to £18 a rise of £3.

yep, its all true i,m afraid  and then some - and they are not even showing the shops now either - which a lot of people over there are really wondering - what the point of having a shop front if it aint visible ?

personally, i still think it looks slightly better and more pro with some sort of front....but horses for courses an all that

Truth is no matter what eBay does, people will pay because they want the sales. I do think its unfair as the US version of the site has better features and more free listings.

The only thing with the US site is it charges final value fees on item and postage.
Where uk one charges only item (unless you do free p&p)
