ebay i give up

Bought on the 19th paid for on the 20th shipped to america on the 21st buyer opened a case on ebay,com i havent recieved my item i want a refund

Didn't know they could after such a short time - thought they had to wait a certain number of days?

Its the new process, if you ask a question now it auto open a case, what ebay now call a query, and even worse it says they want a refund when most havnt even ticked that bit, you have 8 days to talk, before the buyer can open a proper case

ohhh dear.. so does that mean that when a customer asks a question it opens a case to which you respond.. The problem there is i use my iphone to respond to customer questions which ebay does not seem to pick up as a response on main site. I get a question and answer on phone. Log into ebay on pc and it says unanswered questions even though i have responded.

Surely that will do me some damage in some way shape or form.

This seems to open a gateway for customers to get products for nothing. Lets be honest here, ebay dont give a crap about the seller as long as the buyer is happy, but thats nothing new.

Can see alot more auction sites sprouting up very soon. Its time for ebay to have some serious competition i think.

It only started last week, so its pretty new and noone has been all the way through the process yet, on the ebay boards there is all sorts of speculation.

The questions that open a case/query are where is my item, postage question and my item is not as described, the others seem to go through as normal.

Worth keeping an eye on this board in the next week or so to see what happens.

Ahh right. Thank god for that. Touch wood i have not had any of them apart from the mental xmas period where 2 people said they did not receive. Sent them a replacement and 3 weeks later received both the first ones back from royal mail saying they was not collected from sorting office. Lol

i bought some stuff from guy on ebay last week....1 of the 3 products turned up at my door....on to ebay...ticked parcel not arrived or what ever it is - notice came back - give seller till the 16th, that was 5 days away...no problem, i can wait that long as i aint in a hurry...

17th came...contact seller again, same route only this time it opened a case against this guy...ebay asked if i still wanted the goods or refund -TICKED YES for goods....

5 hrs or so later . my email springs into life - seller has refunded you all money ( around £72)..EH ?? i didnt ask for a dam refund !

next day seller comes back asking why i opened a case against him and asked for a refund instead of emailing him to ask what happened..i thought thats what i was doing i said !!.....i apologized and said i had no intention but ebay had other ideas....what an absolute mess over there at the moment with one thing and an other....and thats before we even get to 1st april and the post changes :rolleyes:
