I know, it sounds like a laundry problem, but not quite!lol!
I've recently printed a couple of jigsaws and the whites are slightly yellowish. Could this be a heat problem or pressure maybe? Any ideas please?

Hi Paul. They're wooden puzzles and we're using 180deg for 60 secs. The other puzzles have come out fine, but this particular one has a lot of white in it and half of it seems a bit yellow.

I'll try lowering the heat a bit then and see if it helps.

As sublimation printing doesn't use any white - it has to be a heat issue. I think you may be scorching the jigsaw.

Is the original artowork's white actually white, or is the printer laying down some yellow?

Are you using anything in-between the transfer and the heat press? i.e. silicon sheet etc?

Justin......I use a silicon sheet underneath and a greasproof paper on the top.

pisquee......The original artwork looks white to me. If I can work it out, I'll try to post a photo of it.

Can you use the colour picker tool thingy in Photoshop to see if it is completely white?
