Re: mugs
hi guys got all the stuff from bms and everything works a treat 1 or 2 hiccups at the start but all my own fault. (including and upside down mug) ive printed about 30 mugs now sold of course in first week and orders rolling in. to help me line up transfer paper i put a small blue ink pen mark on the mug top and bottom and line the paper up to this. The mark isnt under the paper. My question is will this blue ink mark bond with the mug if under the pressure and heat of press? also if it does would a small pencil mark be better? i find it just speeds up my allignment process. Any help please guys
Re: mugs
try it on a fail mug.
most experienced muggers don't use any marks, just trim your paper perfectly square and position by eye

Re: mugs
I put a small mark at the bottom so I know where to line it up using a little of my heat tape. This gives me centre and height from bottom

Re: mugs
tried pencil works perfect ill prob get the hang of getting it to line up by eye later but, to get them perfect and get the custom back, 2 small marks with pencil will do. im def not an experienced mugger lol but im lovin it. ps tried mug supplier outside BMS!! 12 BROKEN no one answering phone lol serves me right BMS from now on!!!
Re: mugs
Why not just trim your paper so it fits from one side of the handle to the other side for the length & then from top to bottom for the width.
Re: mugs
I trim the top and bottom position by eye. You get 3 designs on a A4 sheet on a normal mug, again just eye equal distance from handle.
