Epson Stylus WF7015 A3 +
Re: Epson Stylus WF7015 A3 +
Hi,
i am new to all these and and i am searching for a printer to use sublimation ink with it. Its clearly for Personal use.
The only printer i think it qualifies in my local stores is that EPson, but i need your confirmation that this printer is ok to use with sublimation ink.
Any guidance for reasonable priced inks will be appreciated.
thanks in advance for you input on this

Re: Epson Stylus WF7015 A3 +
I doubt anyone has used this printer yet as it's new. Can you get the WF-4015 which is A4 and is being used?
Re: Epson Stylus WF7015 A3 +
The Epson 7010 looks identical to the 7015 & Sawgrass do have all the support for the 7010 so, might be an idea to ask them if they are the same.
Re: Epson Stylus WF7015 A3 +
Thanx for your advice.
A4 edition printer is not available around here. i am glad that i even found a3 available.
So theoretically the printers specs are ok... so will give it a chance. Maybe i will ask sawgrass if it matches 7010

The 4015 is WP-4015, not WF.
You can get them online with free delivery. I can PM you the company we buy them from if you're interested.
Currently Epson are offering a 3 year warranty on them. Not sure if using sublimation ink would invalidate that though.

Can you explain the difference between WP and WorkForce please?
I was looking for a WF1100 but they have been discontinued so am currently looking at alternatives for pigment ink use.
Re: Epson Stylus WF7015 A3 +
Epson use WP prefix for the A4 range and WF for the A3 range.
I think WP just stands for Workforce Pro.
We use the WP-4015, WP-4535 and WF-7525 models here (mostly 4535s).
The 4015 is a basic printer, the 4535 is a multifunction and the 7225 is an A3 multifunction.
The A4 printers have nice, big 3400 page (Epson figure) page cartridges.
Oddly the A3 ones have standard sized Epson cartridges which are rated at abut 900 pages. Odd because the A3 printers have 500 sheet paper trays and are twice the speed so presumably expected to print more.
Print quality is as good as a laser and the standard inks are pigment based so water resistant.
All have network and USB connections.

Re: Epson Stylus WF7015 A3 +
Thank you, I can now search for what would suit my needs and my pocket and which model has refillable carts available.
As an owner of three models, which would you recommend as a good one to look out for please?
