Re: Help needed with my Epson printers.

Post by Kyebie »

I have 2 Epson printers a P50 and a 1400 I have been doing sublimation for a month and had have now had both printers fail me. I have done head cleans and purchased some wonder cleaning solution off the net. I have taken the CISS cartridges out and put syringe over the nozzle heads and pushed de-clogging cleaning solution over. I have left the printers for 24 hours and tried to print. I have done this for days and still no luck. Certain colurs are fine others are just missing and yellow is missing completely on nozzle checks. HELP....WHAT DO I DO........

Have you looked at our FAQ on this matter:

The FAQ on "My print quality on my Epson printer has deteriorated and I cannot get a good nozzle check pattern despite many head cleans..."

Hi
Just tried the original cartridges, however, they must have dried up as I have done a nozzle check and nothing has printed at all.

It's unlikely they have dried as they have an internal seal and the ink can't really go anywhere. If the status monitor says there is ink then there probably is and if you shake the cartridge you'll hear the ink inside.

the ink bottles are marked ***** sublimation ink, made in china. I have purchased these off *****.
The bottles aren't marked with any other information apart from colour.
Do you think the inks i'm using are not good quality for printing.

You have to be careful, as there are some good inks and some poor inks coming from China, and if you buy into the cheap/poor quality ones then you are taking a risk putting them into your printer. As Justin has already removed the brand of ink, it is hard to be able to offer any specific advice on the inks you have bought, but I assume that they aren't a known Sawgrass licensed brand.
