Anyone print the Cookie Jars (Transfer Press) using an oven and wraps?

Not printed using wraps for a long time and interested to know the quality of these jars and print times etc.

I've sourced another oven for around £25 so not a major investment to have a go.

Not a popular thread this one Justin!

Which ones on the TP website do you mean?

We got some cookie jar samples from CG and some Tea/Sugar storage type jars from Merlin Transfers a while back. I can only see the latter type on the TP website so wasn't sure if we were referring to the same thing? I will probably test from TP shortly to see if any difference with the Merlin ones I received. Although the images came out well, I wasn't overly excited by the quality. Even with the designs I was swaying so much on the retail price that I couldn't decide whether to launch or not. They just felt kind of cheap and given the cost price, they would need to be priced accordingly to make any sort of decent margin. Still in two minds....

On the other hand, I was happy with the cookie jars from CG, however I've not had a chance to test them yet so I have no idea how they will come out. I do see though that they have been taken down from CG's inventory so not sure if it's even worth it if they are not planning on restocking....

Yeah, it's the TP ones I was looking at. The CG ones seem very expensive. Even the TP ones aren't cheap so I'm concerned that the quality won't be 'premium' enough for the price I'd need to charge. I think the customer will want a single sample, could be a nuisance!

Do you mean these ones at TP? http://www.thetransferpress.co.uk/acata ... e-jar.html

If so, then I cannot imagine they are that different from the ones I got from Merlin. If the CG Cookie Jars print as well as I hope for then I would have no hesitation for charging double/triple than the price of these ones. The price of the CG ones were really far too expensive though for what they actually were. I'd hope to get them for half the price if I was importing them.
