Welcome to the forum - echo what Paul says. The Ricoh SG3110DN would be your best starting place.

You'll need to buy a full set of inks and the RRP of a full set of inks is £175 +vat

Before you buy any inks or printers, invest in some coffee/tea/alcoholic substance, and a comfy chair

Depends on how much ink you put down per page and the density of the ink. As a guide, between 500 and 1000 mugs - the lower end for dense coloured images, the higher end for mug images with lots of white space and light colours

Thank you very much for your help. Does printing software come with the Ricoh to enable me to do mug printing?

The Ricoh will print from most applications using its powerdriver - there are plenty of free design softwares out there. So take a look at 'The Gimp', 'Paint.net', 'Inkscape' etc.
