Just a quick heads up for anyone that uses a postal Franking Machine. I have recently moved into a shop which previously was an Ink Cartride supply store, and emalgamated my printing with it. The point of this post is to let you know that I can supply compatable cartridges at a vast saving compared to "Pitney Bowes" as an example. Recent customer said she was paying £109 + vat, we supplied her at £46 + vat. I think we will all agree that is a decent saving to any business.
If anyone wants a quote for any ink or toners etc just send me a PM and I will send it back asap.

It's the chips that make these expensive isnt it. We use a franking machine which takes a HP No 45 cartridge with red ink in it. We sell the HP 45 cartridge for £5.50 +vat with black ink in it for HP printers yet the same cartridge with red ink in it and a chip costs £147 +vat (!!!!!) from some companies. No problem in mixing up red ink which we can do and refilling the cartridge (which we did also), but when the chip says "no more printing" you can't doing much - this part of the market is tightly controlled :(

Royal Mail have now issued a licence for compatable carts to be supplied which will work in machines, but if you fill the empty cart you can't re-set chip the same as you can with other manufacturers carts.
