Strange name for a company Oh well. If this is happening a lot all you can do is move. In my own experience, host companies that suffer these problems never seem to get any better. I've also found you get what you pay for. My own hosting is very expensive but worth every penny for the service and reliability.

I just dont like paying the full yr up front in case this sort of thing happens....some want full year, sometimes three upfront....me no likey that

No, you shouldn't need to pay up front, unless they're giving you such a good deal to entice you!

not having much luck at the moment...seems to be one thing after another going wrong.....
Question is....what next ?.....every review you read about hosts are all dam conflicting...i thought these guys(UWH) were ok till steve(smitch) said he had probs with em as well a while back...

every host has problems at some point.
this 99% uptime is rubbish you can't predict a problem and when it happens you will have downtime.
it's how your host deals with problems thats important. if they say yes ok we'll sort it then a day later your still waiting look elsewhere.
if they reply within a short time and bend over backwards to help stick with 'em

as i said to my host i don't care how much i pay i need good service terrific support and a server which is fast and stable and thankfully thats what i've got now, but yes it's at a price lol

Well all the time ive been with my hosts not had no probs. They are also very reasonable. If I was you I'd certainly be changing........
