Have acquired some printing equipment with a copy of vinyal master pro but will not install on my machine as it a 32bit and i have windows 7 64bit has anyone got this to work or are there any other software similar thanks

I can't use our 64bit laptop with our cutter as the drivers are only available in 32bit, a generic 64bit driver doesn't run properly although I think I will be able to sort it when I have time. Luckily, we have 2 older laptops running XP which can run the cutter. My advice would be install a 32bit OS or pick up a cheap 32bit laptop/pc. Vinyl master pro is good software, I don't currently use it but have done in the past. Have you tried running the software in 32bit or XP compatibility mode?

How do i run in xp mode cheers

If you have a shortcut to the program on desktop, right click on it, go to properties and there should be options for compatibility mode. I'm not in front of the windows 7 machine at the moment but off the top of my head there should be an option to run as xp. It doesn't always work but it's worth a try. If you do get it working, you may find your cutter may have some issues aswell, unless you have the correct 64bit driver for it.
