If you could stretch to a new Ricoh GXe3300 I'd throw in 20 sets of cartridges free of charge Paul...

Paul...if it is a simple inkjet printer you might consider Kodak. They have a marketing line of being the cheapest cost of ink per page than any other printer. Cartridge costs are well below other brands. Print quality is up there with the market contenders.

I think that's largely marketing speak. If you do precisely what Kodak did to calculate page cost, then there might be a minor saving - whether it'd be enough to offset the increased cost of the printer is another matter. And Kodak do seem to be doing what others have done, by increasing cartridge cost while decreasing quantity of ink.

If print cost is really the deciding factor, there's nothing cheaper than refillables and third-party ink.

i think Paul wants a printer donated to him rather than buy 1
i think he's hoping someone has one they don't want anymore :)

Surely it would cost too much in postage to send him a freebie !
We all best purchase some raffle tickets off his site so he can afford to buy 1.
