Recommend me an additional Plotter

I currently use my old fathful Roland PC60 to do a lot of my cutting, but it does not have enough downforce for what I currently want to do.

I need a plotter that will have optic eye for kiss cutting around transfers, cut flock and sandblast material.
I do NOT need or want another 24" cutter (when the PC60 packs up, whispering here so it doesn't hear me ) I'll look into another printer/cutter (but would miss the metallic option ) , but for now need something no larger than A3 (space is also an issue).

What would anyone recommend. Rather wary of the cheaper Chinese imports, and have been bitten with Ebay, old story when I first got the PC60.
