u can't direct them to ur email unless there's a mod for it
usually it's just stored on your server but there is a vqmod that allows u to view it directly

good morning steve !....your up n about early m8

seems a dam pain to have to go into the server / host every time to retrieve uploaded pics....

i really like the "upload file" button....rather than the "email us the image" sentence....
Look so much more pro ...or am i just being a fussy ol bugger lol

but failing that......
HOW do you get the text where the button should be saying " email your image here"....and make the text a link to images@yourstore.com ( example)

is it possible ?

To get the image a customer uploads is quite simple.

When you go to your order screen via "sales/orders" click on the "products" tab on the left and a link to your image is displayed on the top with the product details, simply click the link and this will download the image for you.

Go to sales/orders and then click on the order you wish to view and then click on the product tab you'll see the "image name" under the product purchased name.

Try logging in to your server then deleting all images in the "downloads" folder.

Then go to "system/settings/edit/option" then scroll to bottom and in the "Allowed upload file extensions" box make sure you have the file types in you want to allow uploads.

Then try uploading image again and check your order page.
