What is the poor quality? Is this banding, wrong colours, blotchy print, fading at edges, etc etc.Billy;39678 wrote:hi there , just wondering if yous could point me in the right direction, i have been printing mugs for just over 3 weeks now, most of my mugs are fine and colours are great, but some are still coming out with poor quality,?!?!? why is this ? i usually put them in for 160 for 160, but sometimes lower the time if i am doing a photo mug because sometimes the the black is kinda brown:mad:, is there any set times, and temp to put the mugs in? i am using 12oz mugs now , is there a different time and temp to do the other than the 11oz ones? i have done a few plates and put them in at 170 for 120 secs, and they have been fine, is there anything i am doin wrong , i dont wonna keep ruining mugs !! plz help ppl

its mostly the colours (well mostly black) that dont come out properly sometimes the pic is patchy and not as clear as when i first started them
Re: mug printing problem still :(

Re: mug printing problem still :(
Yep, temp way to low. 180-190 would be needed as a starting point.
Re: mug printing problem still :(
well i got 11oz mugs before and they came from coral graph and when i got these ones they are bigger so i assimed they are 12oz, i read on here somewhere that you usually use 160c for 160sec, i was told if u over cook it the blacks go kinda brown dont they????
Re: mug printing problem still :(
