Hi Cardman,
I've done them with xpres paper before no problem, make sure you put some greaseproof paper inbetween the t'shirt as the print can transfer to the back and also protect your heat platen with another sheet of greaseproof paper. I use the stuff from the supermarkets.

Cheers John

That's what sublimation t' shirt are for sublimation. They have a high content of polyester - you HAVE to use sublimation ink on these shirts. The greaseproof paper is to protect your heat press and the back of the shirt.

And yes, use the same paper that you use for mugs - though you can get a higher release paper which is supposed to give better results.

Cheers John

I noticed texprint give better results as can relase more ink then other papers. But you can use any sublimation paper but need to press for slightly bit longer.

You can use certain colour laser printers to print onto t-shirts. There are a few different type of laser materials for going onto light coloured and dark coloured t-shirts.

Hi Martin. Can you tell me more about the laser transfer onto t-shirts. What is needed and how is the process done? Can any type of t-shirt be used?

The Vapor t shirts are far more like a "real" t shirt, personally I find the usuall subli ones a bit naff. The process of subbing onto a shirt I find is much better than the laser option as the image is impregnated into the material not sat on top.
