Dye Sub Ink Supplier

This question has probably been asked a thousand times before (sorry) but has anyone got a link for a genuine & reliable bulk dye sub ink supplier?

When you say "bulk", what size are you think of per colour? Also, what brand are you after and what printer is it for?

When you say genuine then i say try our supplier list. Most of them will sell you any ammount you wish.

Hi, I have an Epson 1400 and want to use whatever dye sub ink would be best for this printer but I am unsure what that is?

I will be doing mugs/tees/teddies etc for a hockey club shop and bought a Geo Knight press.

I bought a 2nd hand Magic Touch Epson Aculaser 8600 (with nearly full toners) and Magic Touch HTP 616 mug press for an absolute steal of a price, but even Magic Touch tell me that dye sub will give me better results than their laser transfer paper. Guess I won't know until I try it for myself, unless anyone can answer that already?

I also have one of the OKI A3 LED 9655DN laser printers which I use for short-run leaflets, business cards and letterheads etc, and its brilliant especially when I laminate the results, but does anyone know if this printer would suit laser transfer paper? All OKI will commit to is saying "the printer will accept all media up to 300gsm."

Regarding the amount of dye sub ink, I think I'll try out 125ml bottles to make sure I've got the right stuff for the Epson 1400 printer, before committing to larger amounts, but then will look at getting 1 ltr bottles.

Also, will any run of the mill CISS (from eBay) for the Epson 1400 suffice, or do I have to get one of the more expensive Artanium Easy Flow solutions?

Any help would be appreciated as I am 'flying by the seat of my pants' at the moment lol. No doubt I'll make some mistakes (if I haven't already) but guess that's the only way I wll learn.

You won't want to use laser paper really for sublimation - you will get better release of the ink off sublimation paper.

Artainium ink is the most popular sublimation ink used in the UK. An Easyflow system gives you the CISS and 600ml of sublimation ink and support from the suppliers. If you buy an empty CISS then you still need to buy the inks and 6x 125ml of inks will cost more than the EasyFlow system filled with ink.

Going forward the largest size of Sawgrass Artainium ink you'll be able to buy for the 1400 is 500ml.
