This looks like the replacement for the Epson 1400, the 1430. This explains why the 1400 is dropping in price in Currys/PC World.

wonder if the tray for the cd/dvd is like it was on the old epson which became a pain in the end to get it in.
Printer does look nice but what a price
Also what would the cost of sublim inks be for this as they all add into the price.

It's a 6 colour printer, so once you've got suitable refillable cartridges or CISS, then it will be the same priced ink as for any 6 colour printer.
Looking at Ebay, the cartridges quoted in the Epson website for the 1430 are the same as the 1400, so pricing for ink purchasing will be the same.
