Re: ink transfer

Post by jennywren »

I have just started to use tru-pix paper, I find the paper thick and hard to see through to up on products, am going to use what I have brought till I've used it up, It does the job and the colour is good, but yesterday when I did a single mug the image came though the sheet on to the plain paper that I put on top as I cut the tru-pix paper to short as it would have left a different band of shade on the mug. Normal I cut the paper to fit top and bottom with out having any bare mug coming into contact in the press. This time there was clear image print on the second sheet of paper. If I didn't have this second sheet it would have transferred to the mug press, can any one give me a reason as I really don't want to start cutting a second sheet just in case, on a large order that is too time consuming. Can anybody help or advise pleeeeeeeeeeeeese.I have a large order that must be started tomorrow
