Re: Desk clocks

Post by gstk »

I really want to be able to offer desk clocks (or as they should be known as coasters at an angle with a clock mechanism) What I cant find is a decent (or any) stand for them to sit in on a desk. Anyone got bright ideas or know where I might get them. I tried to make my own last year and failed miserably. Looked like a 10 year old child had made it.

Thanks

I think you can get them made of cork or talk to your local chippy. I aske my mate who is a carpenter and he said he has loads of waste wood so he can make me some. nicely polished and cmall cut slot. should be cheap enough.

Would the Clock or Plate stands at the bottom of this page not do the trick? http://www.clockparts.co.uk/cd%20stands.htm

I like the color ones. But small plate stands are perfect for small desk clocks. I had them for sale but no one wanted them then...
