posting solution for large latte mugs wanted

anyone have a solution for posting out the large latte mugs? i really like the mugs but the lack of a postage solution is a pain in the proverbial ... any suggestions or solutions would be greatly appreciated

i recently did a pair, and packed them "top to tail" in a box that fitted them ok - the box was a standard one like the post office do, and i bubble wrapped them well, but i have been wondering about the single ones as well, like you say it limits sales to taking to craft fairs etc if you cant post them

You could get a box made up for them from a company like http://www.ascdirect.co.uk/box_builder.asp

Not cheap, but you don't have to buy many, and they're tough. I get custom size boxes made up for El Grande mugs and ceramic plates. I've put a plate in one of them with no additional cushioning and we tossed it around the garden like a frisbee - no damage.
