Looked at one of these about a month ago, not actually seen it in motion though. I do wonder if it will end up like the Roland PC12 thermal printer - history!

A very nice looking machine, a cut down versacamm ? The silver ink is just over three times the cost of any one other ink (in america) I wonder if other metallic Inks like gold will be available for that slot.
It would be nice to have the money to buy this. I look forward to reading how jennywren get's on with her purchase.

I shall go for a demonstration before I buy, for me it looks all singing and all dancing machine, but will it do what I want. That's why I'm waiting till next year, I'm going to read a few reviews other people before I commit. Its a lot of money to waste if doesn't do what they say, and it might have a few problems, as the one thing that's holding me back is the fact they did not release on the date they said they would, and that makes me wonder why, maybe a few niggles that they might not be telling us about.

I don't think you need any other metallic colours? doesn't it mix it with any colour you specify? I just assumed as there is a print shop not far from us who has one of the new big Versacamm machines and they have print samples - one of them has metallic text in a few different colours (pink, green and gold\yellow).

Would be interesting to find out properly though :)
