Re: Which printer for photo prints?

Post by Justin »

Someone asked me last week what printer I thought they should get. They want day to day printing and occasional good quality photographs. I reckon Epson would be fine for them but not sure which model, maybe a 6 colour. The new Canon printers also look very nice for the money.

Anyone any ideas on specific models I could recommend ? They don't want to spend a fortune.

Cheers,
Justin :-)

100% agree. R285 is very good way to go.
I recomend this for my cutomers too with CISS/refillable cartridges and inks.

Davids Home Goods - Has anyone ever ordered form them? Only reason I ask, they seem cheaper than everywhere else, even the likes of Oyyy.co.uk who I find cheap, free shipping as well. I like to see who I'm dealing with, I know a lot of scam sites were set up before Xmas. When you look at the contact section etc. on this site it isn't working.

Maybe me being paranoid!

Just had a quick Google for the company. Most folk pointing out what I stated, no contact details or anything. Payment page asks for credit card etc. no Paypal option. Most folk are avoiding. Can't find any company info. on the either :-(

I see the R285 is no longer made. Do you think this would be a suitable alternative.............
