Re: Looking for a few 'test' coasters to be printed

Post by Justin »

As I've recently been testing different printers/profiles etc. I'm putting together a pile of coasters with identical images for further comparison.

I would very much like a couple printing from printers I don't have to see how these compare. I don't use the Ricoh range so it would be good to get some from the 3300 and also the 7000. Also, the B1100 and also the B42WD. If anyone is using the 4800 or larger format printers it would be good to see these as well.

It'll just be 2 coasters with different images but they must be on 90mm Circular Unisub coasters. I will gladly provide these (when I get around to ordering more in!) and also cover postage costs if needs be.

If you're confident that your system is printing to the best of its ability I'd appreciate your help.

Actually that makes far more sense, I need everything else to be identical, press times/temp etc. so just need the prints then I guess :-)

It's a very interesting experiment, I'm aware of the limitations on colour matching/detail etc. with sublimation but tests so far have thrown up a few surprises.

Would need the prints on Xpres paper for continuity....did you get those I sent you Paul?

Got a Ricoh 7000, but not the right kind of paper, if you want to send me a couple of sheets of paper, I'll gladly print some things for you

The B42WD isn't supported yet so there won't be any takers for that one.
