Re: Acetate Mug Boxes

Post by Justin »

Bought a load of acetate mug boxes off eBay a while back and they were really good, perfect size for 10oz mugs. Came to re-order and supplier didn't have any so I bought the BMS ones. These are better because they are thicker but are taller and a 10oz mug rattles around a little unless left in the bubble wrap.

Does anyone have a source for the smaller/thinner acetate boxes?

I have some if you ever need them and can't find them elsewhere. Tight fit for the 10oz so keeps everything in place.

Also a lot easier to assemble too.

You can get from a company called Norfolk china, I use them to put in mugs when I sell them but don't use them for posting. They are on suitable for a 10oz. Hope this helps

There's a few different versions out there and I did find an easier one to put together but was about 10p more. Thought I would just suffer with an extra 2 seconds work for that cost. It did work well though as you could just pull the 2 flattened sides apart and the base automatically locked in place. Mine you have to fold the base in after pulling sides apart. Surprising how many designs there are out there.

Talking of box designs, have you ever seen the retail cardboard mug boxes where the mug is fully visible in the frontand locked in by just the handle. This box also converts into a real enclosed box as well. Great design. Having some priced up now.

Hi Justin. Did I manage to reply to the PM's you sent? After I send them they don't seem to show in my sent folder.

Thanks,

Andrew
