Hi would it be possible to run sublimation and dtf on the epson l1800 at the same printer if i buy a separate ink tank with different lines and different damper

You would waste a lot of ink, and the lines would need to be disconnected from the print head each time and then purge the ink from the print head.
I don’t think it would actually work they way you think it will either.
ink tanks and the rest is all connected to the pcb for data like ink levels etc.
It would be easier to just purchase a second machine.
relying on one machine to work two jobs could end in disaster.

Epson eco tank printers have very long ink lines that the older cartridge printers didn't. Maybe if you could find a good used 1500w ( which is the cartridge version of the L1800) then you could try it by swapping between CISS tanks. The Ciss sits directly in the pring head so no ink lines to worry about.
Lot of messing about cleaning heads between changes and you would probably need to recharge the ciss each time.

Wouldn't it be more econimcal and far easier just to get a seperate sublimation printer?
