Epson SC-F6300 maintenance help

[FONT=&quot]Does anyone have any experience with Epson SC-F6300 sublimation printer?

[FONT=&quot]I bought a second hand unit over 1.5 years ago. I was told to only run a head clean with the head maintenance kit if the printer told me to so or if I was having issues with the print head leaving random bits of ink on the paper. I ran a head clean with the kit when I first got the unit and since then noting, no issues and it has not told me to do anything. I'm now worried because I have done a decent amount of printing and nothing yet, thus I want to make sure what I was told is correct. [/FONT]

I have looked at the user manual and it only tells you to do so if you are having print issues. I contacted Epson, 4 emails in and no help thus far. Does anyone know if what I was told is correct or should I be doing this regularly?
