Hi Guys , We have a Ricoma 1501 embroidary machine, Still in the learning process, We use David Sharpe for digitising and they are and very good reliable, But I would like to have the freedom of digitising too for simple designs , monograms etc specially for caps etc. So what digitising software you recommend ?. I need something cost effective easy to use but powerful and my budget is up to 1K . Thanks again .

Tbh it's not economical at all these days to do any digitising in house. I use digitizer from abroad and have each design the next day.
Reference caps, nothing is simple there
But if you want to learn that, then I use PE-DESIGN and it cost £999.
I eBay you can get it much cheaper. I believe you can also download demo to see if you liken it. Nowhere near as good as Wilcom but fully able to manually digitize anything
There is software called embrilance that has few versions. I know basic is quite cheap. Worth to have a look.

Have a look at Hatch. Its from Wilcom but much cheaper, I think around 1K. https://hatchembroidery.com/free-trial/ ... CwEALw_wcB
There is a 30 day trial too. If you like then you can upgrade to Wilcom but thats expensive. Ive up graded my Wilcom over the years but if I had to buy it new it would be around 6K. Scary. Embroidery is my main business so for me it was worth it.

We get great quality digitizing for £6 each done overnight. Although we have some digitizing software (Wilcom / Corel draw) its just not worth the bother

What came with the Ricoma ? I work in PE Design, lots of really helpful tutorials. Main thing with caps is the way it is set to embroider, from centre out, not across if that makes sense. It takes a while to get it right, but here are a few I have done myself.

HI Mrs Maggot ,
Nice designs they are ..Ricoma didn’t give me anything , Apparently just the UK Ricoma machines do not come with any software (Annoying and basic one cost £450 ) .
That’s why I am looking for a basic software I can do little things if needed .
