Hi
I've a new heat press and need to secure the foam rubber to the metal plate on the base of the heat press.
What do people use for this please? I'm not planning to remove it, I just want something that will secure it down and stay there without any bother.
Regards
Gary
Securing foam to base of heat press
Re: Securing foam to base of heat press
I would assume you could use a high-temperature silicon glue, if so, use the top platen with a little pressure to help with the bonding.

If it's the thick heavy type then don't bother.
It was a royal pain getting the first rubber base off my Adkins so now I just leave it without any glue.

Thanks for this. We've just used it for 2 months without anything so I'm tending to agree with you - we'll just leave it without - doesn't seem to be going anywhere!
