Hi All,
Does anyone who is running a Ricoh Sub printer know whether its ok to use Sublijet-R & VisiSub-R inks together. As in I'm currently using sublijet but if a cart runs out would it be OK to replace with VisiSub-R.

Cheers John

Why would you want to John? Is the VisiSub-R cheaper?

Probably to give him wider availability from more suppliers. The same question has often occurred to me when one supplier sells Artanium and another sells Visi-sub, and, when asked, it turns out that they're the same thing.

Why Sawgrass need so many brand names for the same product often baffles me. I guess it's to give the impression that there are more competing products on the market, when there isn't.

Hi Martin, I've bought sublijet inks from yourself, and xpres, but full sets of VisiSub-R inks keep appearing on ebay for £175 inc (for 4 carts) - Quite a bit of a saving.

I was curious on the price as VisiSub and Artainium and other brand names are the same but prices are also the same. If VisiSub-R is the same as SubliJetR, and it's being offered at that price regularly then, in theory all the suppliers should be able to get it cheaper and sell it cheaper. Worth investigating when it appears on Ebay again...

Going off track slightly but, might be like the time when I had a Ford Sierra XR4x4 & the clutch cable was the same part number as the Sierra Cosworth & it cost just over £40 but the the 2 litre Sierra had the same clutch cable but a different part number & was just under £20. Happy days.............lol
