Re: Oven temperature setting

Post by iantaylor197 »

Hello, ive recently started doing mugs in a mini oven rather than my mug press. Getting really mixed results. I have tried higher/lower temps at different times. The best results so far is 200 Celsius for 12 mins, but even then the black font on my print has a slight brown outline.

Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what time and temperature they use please.

Many thanks

The "browning" of your blacks could be two things. It could be over cooking, but it could also be the ink/printer combo. To be able to tell you what it is can you post pictures and also let us know what ink and printer you are using and if you have installed an ICC profile.

Ideally let us know what blanks you are using at the same time.
