Hi all only joined today And a total Newby I’m looking at purchasing a mug heat press
and also an Epson eco tank printer ET-2720 this comes original Epsom Inc which I think is pigment ink as far as I’m aware
do I need to change the ink to be able to print on mugs and T-shirts.
this may be a really silly question but I have no idea.

To print mugs and polyester t-shirts you will need to change to sublimation ink. To print onto cotton t-shirts you will need to stick with pigment ink and use transfer paper.

One more question to add to this if I wish to print onto vinyl stickers do I need pigment ink or sublimation ink. Thanks

To do it succesfully you need solvent ink - printers start from £4.5k upwards. There are sublimation and pigment ink vinyls that can be printed but the results are not good.
