Pneumatic heat press Any Tips

HI,
Logobear have used Adkins for decades and think they are great.
We are wanting to get an pneumatic, - and looking for any suggestions.
Adkins & Insta do solid machines, - but at a cost.
Geo Kights look better priced, but are they any good?

Finally, - are they noisey when they release? - We have a silent compressor, but wonder about the noise of the press when it releases

Any thoughts.

I have asked on various groups regarding pneumatic presses and also dual platen ones and no one seems to respond which presumably means not many people have them.

I think I am going to bite the bullet and get something soon though as I think there are major benefits in them when you are pressing very high volume.

I am thinking of dipping my toe with the one from Signworld which is only a grand which is a pretty darn good price in my opinion.

Social, thanks for feedback. My concern with anything other than a major manufacturer is the quality & evenness of the heat.
This is most important for laser transfere, especially no weed / wow etc....
Seems that Stahlls, Adkins, Insta, and Geo Knights are the only ones recommended for such ....

Firstly, I think WOW has come along way these days. The reason I say that is because the central spindle on my Adkins snapped about 8 months ago. I grabbed a cheap one off Signworld to keep the vest business going. That was 8 months ago, but it is such a corker of a machine that I still haven't fixed the Adkins. Wow, T-One, TTC etc etc are all put through the cheap press without any issues.

Secondly, not sure if you have seen or not, but there is a new heat press been released that is specifically for laser transfers. I think it is only in the states at the moment, I will try and see if I can find the video of it as they pressed about 5 or so dark garment transfers all in one hit.

Is the Pressmech pneumatic as good their regular press? It (and the Stahls Air fusion) are the only two that seem to have a truely 'threadable' base, where you can get the shirt completely over the platen. I can get right down to a ladies XS onto my 38 x 50 Pressmech platen, which is my main criterium.

I've been looking for dual platens. The Pressmech looks a bit cock-eyed with the platens 90 degrees apart - any one used it? The other dual platen press with a 'threadable' base is the Stahls, but at £6200 + vat is too much.

The Sefa full auto looks mighty, but the c-shaped part that supposedly makes the base 'threadable' isn't enough to get very small sizes onto the press. at £4900 + vat it would need to be perfect.

This looks interesting, for someone who had the space, but I would want to see it working.

The reason i can not give you a link to a good machine is because I have not tested any of them myself so it would not be appropriate for me to give recommendations. I can say that Signzworld are a reputable supplier and should be able to guide you to the one that is best suited.

Aha, that was just a semi auto, not a pneumatic.

Just had a quick look and it is not on their site anymore though.
