Re: Having problems understanding programming Coralgraph 23x30 Swing away Press

Hello folks, I am new to this forum and also to dye sublimation. I am hoping that someone here may be able to help me.

I took delivery today of a Coralgraph heat press. The, minimal, instructions show a press with a completely different heat/time controller. I am posting a pic of the display that my machine has.

I pressed the loop icon at bottom left of display, this made the temp numbers flash and, using the arrows I set it to 190 degrees. It began heating up.

I pressed the loop icon again and it cycled to the time. I set it to 60 secs.

It carried on heating up and kept going beyond 190 degrees up to 200. The timer reset itself to 15 secs before I could press the red button at the side of the press.

I ended up just winging it and counting elephants at a higher temperature than I wanted. I got reasonable results but it would be nice to know what I am supposed to be doing. At the moment I don't know if the machine is faulty or if I am! Any help would be very much appreciated. I did email Coralgraph but I probably won't hear much until Monday and I am so keen to get going with making things, :)

I thought that I would update this thread to say that Coralgraph got back to me on Monday and solved my problem the same day. Very helpful people.

In case anyone else runs into the same problem, all that was need was to give the loop icon a bit longer press at the end of programming everything to keep the settings.
