Hi. Nice to hear that you are getting a bit of worldwide sales on your Etsy store :) I would recommend you to continue to go for an option where the parcel is signed for which will be to your benefit in case of disputes. I haven't traded in the UK for some time now, so haven't got updated information about good shipping options for UK-Europe UK-USA specific. A possibility would be to sign a contract with different parcel companies as there should be cheap shipping options to different countries.

Get a business account with royal mail, and apply for the international business codes (MTA/MTC) for Tracked and Signed for your account - much cheaper

Agree with you , I am charging £8 for shipping bit too much but have no option due to lost claims , This is why I am looking for a cheaper postage options for internationals ..

Have you currently got a business account? Might be cheaper just as pisquee mentioned. Also, aren't there comparison websites for sending parcels as to shop around for the best price?

for small parcels - upto 2kg, and no more than 90cm (length+width+height) you won't beat RM

With Pisquee on this. I use RM "Click and drop". Tracked to US is good.

We looked at getting an account but I believe you have to send a minimum amount? We could justify it but probably not every month, depending what those minimums are?

We got an account Justin. We explained that we wouldn't hit their minimum for most of the year but would exceed it in the run up to Christmas. They accepted us without a problem.
