paper coating. Lower the temp and compensate with time.

I currently using the supplier guide which is 185 c and for 360 seconds. What would you suggest Paul sorry I'm new to this process.Paul;140199 wrote:paper coating. Lower the temp and compensate with time.
Re: marks on rock slate
those guide only. you will need to find what works best for you.
I would suggest dropping the temp down to 180C and see if it improve. if you find that coating doesn't stick any more but the image is not printed properly, increase the time a bit.

Another little tip until you get it right, break a slate into say 4 pieces that way you won't waste as many while experimenting.
