Re: Xpres Ceramic Camping Mug

Post by smackewn »

Does anyone have any tips on printing these? I have the Genie III mug press and so far have ruined about 10!

I can't get colour to take anywhere near the top - certainly nowhere near the pictures they show on their website. I've tried heating the mug beforehand, and holding a heated mug on the rim to try and keep the temp up.

Or do I have to resign myself to it only have a tiny print area?

So annoying...they're not cheap

Thanks!

they have a video online showing how they do them, and what settings they use, but I just don’t seem to get the same results.

We wasted loads and then realised you need to follow exactly their instructions of 200c and 190s. We normally only heat to 170c for regular ceramic durham but when changed to 200c the ceramic camping were perfect.
