If the bag has some sort of plasticy coating it may work ... You'll have to hunt around for different ones to try

Why sublimate? Is there some advantage in this over simply printing bags with a pigment printer?

Pisquee, might have a look but time is against me.
Webtrekker, I only have a sublimation printer. Would it be easy to print the bag on a pigment ink printer?
Might just outsource but not sure what to expect to pay per unit.
