Re: Screen Protector Material?

I asked a similar question a couple of years back but wasn't able to identify a material suitable to cut screen protectors from!

Anyone any idea?

Cheers

Would transparent sign vinyl do the job? Available gloss or matte from MDP.

Actually, I've just been reading up on this, and you have to be careful what you use as a screen protector as it's possible that, when removed, it may damage the oleophobic coating of the screen. This is the special layer that combats fingerprints, etc.

You can buy oversized screen protectors that you trim yourself to fit whatever device they're needed for. I did this with my Kindle reader.

The clear vinyl isn't crystal clear.

I need to make 4500 of them so trimming is definately not an option :)
