Anyone tried this stuff yet? There are great claims being made about it on 'a certain other' forum but I've never tried it myself.

I did have a look on the Grafityp site (who appear to be the only UK supplier of the stuff, but I may be wrong) and it's pretty pricey compared to normal dyesub papers. I suppose it might have a place on more up-market 100% cotton items where profit margins are a bit greater. I wonder how it compares to the likes of JPSS and Jet-Opaque though?

I'm assuming you mean the likes of a BN-20 Paul as this is still print & cut but using a separate printer and cutter.

They need to prove it works as well as solvent vinyl - print sharpness, washability and ability to tumble dry. if it does then it saves buying a £7k plus solvent printer.

They still need to prove it works fully, 'cos none of the other sublimatable vinyls I have tried do.

I'm getting a feelin of deja - vu. Not for the first time....

There is a lengthy thread on this over on the T-shirt forum. Unfortunately it dissolves into the usual 'is it sublimation' semantics.

I rang my local supplier so I could get a sample to test. The Flock sample is not a problem and can buy it by the metre but the application tape I would have to buy a whole 25mtr roll. At 65€ , that is too expensive to do just a test. Annoying .

Graphityp sell it by the metre or even A4. Do you have a UK family member they can send it to? You've got 'til the end of October.

Do you have a link? I can't find it on the Grafityp site.
