Sports water bottle printing query

Hi All,
I've been asked to print some metal sports water bottles and thinking they'd fit my presses, I've quoted on them. I've now dug out a sample sports bottle that I had lying around to find the circumference is much smaller than a standard mug or travel mug and won't fit my presses.

Can any shed any light on what blanket I need to print these - my presses are the Freesub ST210 or an old press I bought from coralgraph years ago, think its a coral 2 or even a 4.

Hi,

if its the same same water bottles as I think you mean then they should fit with the 6oz blanket for the freesub double mug press.

I do water bottles and had a similar question and I can confirm it’s the 6oz you need.
This is based on you using a 400-600ml water bottle.

Just a little feedback on this thread - the smaller 6oz blanket was delivered (thanks for the info MrTeajunkie) fitted in a few minutes and I'm happy to say, the order has been printed and customer was well happy with his sports bottles.
The blanket is a lot smaller than the other mug blanket in diam and width, so a large logo either side of the bottle wasn't possible, but it seems to be an even heat and transfers the print well.

What time and temp did you use?
im still playing with mine at the moment i am down to 170* for 45 seconds and it seems to be ok but a few are coming out blurry.

I went for 165 degrees @ 60 seconds - the product info from seller states 180 degrees @ 120 secs, but I ignored that as the metal travel mugs I do print well with my timings and they're a similar metal finish.

All metal products Iv done Iv always done at 180c for 60s seem to always come out perfect for me, using the free sun double mug press on the larger water bottles.

My timings worked for me, but I will give yours a try next time and compare results.

The only reason I stuck to 180c is that I was under the impression this is when sublimation happens the ink turns to gas. I could well be wrong.
