Or even, Heat press vinyl on to a flag ?

Can anyone offer advice please ?

I have a customer that wants me to source an england flag, and then print (vinyl press) in the four corner squares. I am assuming that off the shelf flags are nylon, and my question is, would heat press vinyl be ok on this type of material?

Do any of you have exp, and can reccomend heat settings, or a supplier for a flag will withstand the heat press?

Thanks in advance.

Did some polyester flags off ebay for a friend, quite large flags and it was a pita trying to apply large vinyl logo to them. Multi passes through heatpress due to sie I wouldnt bother again put it that way! You can out source it though to a flag printer.

The weight of the vinyl is an issue, as it will not fly properly if too much vinyl is added, you also get glue bleed as flags are thin, and would need to make sure you line your heat press, as otherwise you will have glue on every garment for days after. Dye sub works very well on flags. Same rules, line your press well.

I have a separate cutter which I use mainly for print and cut jobs with my Canon inkjet. However, if I need to sub print to something (eg. Mylar sheets, Jet-Opaque etc) then I print to PDF (including registration marks) as my cutter software doesn't support ICC profiles. I can then do the sub print with Photoshop which handles PDF's well.

You can ask someone to print it on the eco-solvent printer. There is a flag material on roll specially designed for those printers.
