Re: Printed A3 transfer sheets

Post by Baldy »

I recently purchased a SG400 which so far has been great, although ideally I would have preferred the SG800...just too much of a price jump at present.
Just thinking ahead if any customers want something bigger, does anyone know of anywhere (or someone on here) that provides printing onto A3 sheets...and roughly at what cost? (I can press myself).

Thanks

Cheers Gooner, Do you mean Sublimation sheets or HTV printed vinyl?

If Sublimation I can do it, however I would recommend you contact someone who has the same printer and ink set you are running. For example, if you are running Sawgrass inks in a Ricoh on Trupix then ask for that exact same set up. That way, when you do switch to a bigger printer you will not have any issues with Colour matching from previous work.

We do this service too, although print onto rolls of wide format paper, so the costing is done on a cm2 or m2 basis rather than sheets, PM me if you want price details.
We have a 7 colour ink system (although in the process of moving to 9), so is going to be somewhat different quality if you're used to only a 4 colour inkset.

PS. Forgot to mention I do print colour HTV vinyl but I have a feeling you require sublimation sheets which as mentioned before, would be better if you sourced from the same set up.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, it was the sublimation paper I was thinking of, but good advice on the finding someone with the same setup. I'll def keep you in mind if I need any printed HTV though:wink:

Sure, but as I am not an "official" advertiser it is only fair to say that others also offer this service on here, if you ever need some then post your requirements and let the quotes roll in ;-)
