Hi guys,

I'm new to the forums after being a long time lurker. We've finally decided to take the plunge and start offering custom t-shirts etc. for our bears and we've decided on dye sublimation. However I've been tasked with finding a printer and heat press which is proving to be a little challenging. Printer wise we're thinking the Sawgrass SG400 based on what I have read on these forums, which would leave us around £250-£300 for a heat press.

We plan on producing t-shirts for the teddy bears we supply so don't need anything more than an A4 press (in actual fact it could be smaller but I think A4 is standard for a small press). Mostly pressing onto teddy bear sized white t-shirts. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

You could have a look at this -:

It's a bit smaller than A4 at 23 x 30 cm but only £89.99 inc. VAT and delivery. They've sold loads of them and we bought a standard 38x 38 cm version of the same make recently which we are very pleased with.

Incidentally, I see you have a wholesale site - can you PM me an indication of prices please?

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum BTW.

I have one of those in my office collecting dust... wouldn't recommend it at all.

I do have a SW heatpress which is a corker of a machine, just that particular one was useless. It might be that they have now updated it and fixed all the issues though.
