Hi all

Been asked about doing placemats today unisub hardboard customer is enquiring about baize for the underside.

Does anyone supply this?

BMS do a baize for under their Unisub mats

SoleJuice have just introduced a new PictaLeather UV style placemat and matching coaster. I had one through to test and the print is superb, worth a look.

Unisub place mats are a PITA for warping (see similar threads!)

Hmmm, do you have a link to that placemat as can't seem to find it on the web site?

Just checking to see when they're going live.

SoleJuice are awaiting stock delivery of the place mats, coasters are in stock.

A piece of snooker table slate on top afterwards seems to do the trick

You shouldn't need to put anything on top to flatten these, that's the point. If you were printing 1 or 2 it's not a problem but on a longer run....

I've given feedback to Unisub as one of our suppliers met with them at the Show in LA.

Agreed - I just thought it might be helpful for those doing the odd few with stock they already have. Dampening the backs is also supposed to help. I rarely do them now so have no idea whose stock is any good.

Best thing to do in my opinion is to boycott the product as I personally see them as being faulty. All stock is the same.
