DG5 Multi-Mug Press error

I purchased a DG5 Multi-Mug Press second hand and there is little information on the internet, I was hoping you experienced folk could help me. I have followed the instructions a website regarding the set up. I have set the time and temperature, it immediately starts playing music, Sugar Plum Fairy if i'm not mistaken, it then shows the number 255. None of the elements are heating up either, do you have any idea what this could be? It also came with a second mains unit that actually tripped the power in the house.
