Water bottles......can i use a mug press?

I just wanted to double check before I jump in and buy some

You can use a mug press BUT you may need a special blanket for smaller mugs. We have an Adkins press and use the porcelain blanket when doing these.

I don't have the blanket for my press so wanted to use my oven but its come out looking really naff

I do my water bottles in a Halogen Oven, took a while to get them right, now they come out really good

I'm putting them in at 180 C for 6.5 mins

To get the oven to 180 C, I need to set at 200 C

I just tightly tape the paper to the water bottles, but I do use silicon wraps on all ceramics

Yep I use halogen oven as well with great results. I use a silicon wrap though to keep the transfer in place.

You can print them with a 10oz mug element in the Adkins, just put a thin silicone matt in between to take up the extra space.
